Marc’s family was in the construction business, and by age 15 he had developed a strong interest in the industry through participating in various real estate activities with his family.At age 20, he became a licensed real estate agent. He quickly made a name for himself at the Le Permanent de l’Epoque company. Eager to continue learning, he then completed a program in real estate valuation and real estate law at the University of Quebec (UQAM). In 1987, he joined the rapidly growing ranks of the Re/Max franchises.

Marc Charbonneau is well known for his marketing skills, his professionalism and his honesty, hence his memorable slogan “The Marc of confidence in real estate.” Over the years, Marc has earned many honours within the Re/Max network, including being inducted into the Hall of Fame and receiving the exceptional Lifetime Achievement Award.

As the year 2000 approached, with the real estate market undergoing some important changes, Marc decided to start his own company and became a licensed real estate broker under the name of Re/Max Platinum M.C. (Licensed through Re/Max Platinum). This, along with his experience and knowledge of the sector, boosted his reputation even more. It comes as no surprise that more and more clients are choosing to put their trust in Marc Charbonneau and his team, who are specialized in Brossard and the surrounding area.

Having grown up in a family that worked in the real estate sector in Brossard, Philippe
became passionate about the field early on. He graduated from Concordia University
with a major in business administration and a minor in real estate, and has been putting
his knowledge and expertise to work for his clients ever since.

In addition to the professional passion and expertise he has developed over the last few
years, Philippe has also acquired other skills that make him a valuable addition to the
team. He has been active on the hockey scene for many years, starting with the
Concordia University Stingers and later joining the LNAH. Hockey has taught him
discipline, team spirit and perseverance. We’re delighted to have Philippe as part of the
team.

Shady Youakim

Shady is very familiar with Montreal’s Rive-Sud, having grown up and worked for his family’s company in the area when he was younger. His family’s company owned several businesses, and now manages a large amount of real estate.

Shady, who has a business administration degree from the University of Ottawa, was exposed to the real estate world early on, and has been fascinated by it since a young age.

After working in sales and customer service for a few years, Shady decided to return to his roots and complete his studies to become a real estate broker. His motivation, devotion and knowledge of construction, renovation and real estate make him an exceptional real estate broker. He joined Marc Charbonneau in 2013. He is a valuable addition to the team, and is sure to meet and even exceed your expectations!

Mingyu Tian

After beginning her university studies in architecture in China, Mingyu then chose to pursue her studies at an architecture school in France. She obtained her master’s degree in 2010, after which she worked for an architectural firm in Paris for a few years.

In 2016, Mingyu chose to move to Quebec, where she decided to apply her knowledge to the real estate sector.

In addition to working as a real estate broker, Mingyu is also vice-president of the Shandong Association, a Montreal-based organization that assists newly-arrived Chinese immigrants who speak neither French nor English to get established in Quebec. One of the ways she helps is by finding them properties that are suited to their needs.

She was proud to join the Marc Charbonneau team in 2018. Mingyu is trilingual (French, English and Mandarin), attentive, professional and thorough. She will be happy to assist you with buying or selling a property, always keeping your best interests in mind.

Michèle Racine is originally from Brossard, and worked in dentistry for ten years. In 1995, Michèle decided to leave the dentistry sector and join Marc Charbonneau as an administrative assistant. Her energetic support is invaluable to our team.

After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Human Resources, Kristina works in event organization and coordination.
